Camera
August 18th, 2011 by admin

I trashed my camera last weekend. Damn it, I’m still upset by this. Maybe it was some higher power going out of its way to punish me for something (drinking probably). Anyway, me three friends had gather by the rail to take group shot. I hadn’t yet (as the camera was brand new) managed to figure out how the auto-release thing worked on it. Instead I told everyone to snuggle up as closely as possible I was on far left trying get my arm out of the of lens and take shot from above –ish. But then someone in the neighborhood deicide to explode this fucking megaton firecracker, I’m not kidding it sounded like the Germans were at it again, bring death from above to make our neighborhood their lieben raum. Whoever it was it, it totally took me by surprise and made me lose my grip on the camera which slipped through my hands and proceed over the balcony parapet and to the concrete below. I ran down to estimate the damages, but there wasn’t much left at all. I managed to secure that chip though which looked intact enough to me. But now I need a new camera. I can spend the same amount I did last time thought. There’s one slight chance left however, I just might find a used one or make a good deal on a brand new at some online auctions site. It might take some time to find one at the auctions though and when you do business at those sites you’ve gotta watch you auction every waking hour like a coked up owl or some nasty old Belgian dude is going to snatch it in the purpose of conducting nature photography in the vicinity of a children’s playground.
